Endoscopy: a simple definition
Industrial endoscopy involves using optical or digital devices, called endoscopes, to explore and inspect areas inaccessible to the naked eye in complex industrial environments. Unlike medical endoscopy, this technique is adapted to extreme conditions, including temperatures of up to 2000°C, corrosive environments and confined spaces.

Our history
Founding of KINOPTIK
KINOPTIK is founded in Paris. Rapidly gaining recognition in the world of cinema, it specialized in the manufacture of precision optics, particularly for professional cameras and projectors. Its expertise in the design of high-quality lenses and optical systems has made KINOPTIK a major player in the audiovisual sector.
Integration into the SFIM Group
KINOPTIK joins the SFIM group (Société Française d'Instrumentation et de Mesure), alongside CLAVE (high-temperature endoscopy, astronomy), SOFRETEC and INSPECTRONIC (nuclear imaging), and BODSON (industrial and thermal endoscopy). The company then began to extend its field of expertise to vision in extreme environments.
Creation of CESYCO
Following economic difficulties, KINOPTIK was acquired by CESYCO, which inherited the company's know-how in high-temperature industrial endoscopy. CESYCO became a key player, particularly in the steel, glass and energy sectors, offering vision systems adapted to the most hostile environments.
Foundation of the INDUSCOPE company
INDUSCOPE was created to reinforce CESYCO's expertise in the field. Specializing in on-site inspection services, the company enables equipment to be tested and validated in real-life conditions, while responding to requests for rental and à la carte services.
Switch to video: development of videoscopes
CESYCO launches its range of videoscopes, expanding inspection possibilities by capturing moving images. This technical evolution marks a turning point in the ability to document and interpret inspections in difficult environments.
Interchangeable camera heads
Endoscope heads become modular: it is now possible to choose different angles, fields and directions of vision according to the needs of the operation. Greater flexibility for users.
Integration of CMPC
CMPC, the long-standing supplier of steel sheaths, becomes a subsidiary. This acquisition enables CESYCO to internalize its boiler-making and precision machining operations, and to gain greater control over its manufacturing chain. CESYCO thus strengthens its technical independence and responsiveness.
